On PREMature, my initial role was as the Casting Assistant. I felt very exited about this role because it was a very interesting and challenging project to be working on in terms of casting, being a series with a wide spectrum of actors and scenes. A few weeks after coming on board, I already felt attached to the project and it saddened me, the thought of not being part of the shooting process and not getting to see the amazing cast in action that was being put together. So when the role of 2nd Assistant Director was offered to me I didn't hesitate. Rohith and Terry are exceptional people to work with in production and their passion and love for the series was inspiring. During the shoot, as 2nd AD, it felt good to be the contact point for many of the cast, most of them with little to no film experience, and see them grow to own their characters. As a whole, my experience with PREMature is extraordinary, something rarely encountered in this industry, and I feel lucky to be able to contribute to it.
