Hassan is an actor based in West London. His acting pursuits began at Cranford Community College - in fact the very same secondary school at which PREMature was shoot at. From encouragement vocalised from his drama teacher, Hassan decided to look at acting agencies to get experience on set and to see how acting for tv and film differentiated from theatre performance. Opportunities came in the form of extra work on BBC's Eastenders and supporting actor work on Waking the Dead.
I play a character named Sunny, a school bully along with his best friends Theo, Crawford & Jourdan. Any humane person out there will agree that bullying's a serious matter and does create a big impact in everybody's lives no matter the age, gender or cultural background. PREMature shows real events, which I wholeheartedly believe that many people, particularly my age group will be able to relate to. Events that I've seen first hand or know someone who's been through a similar situation. For portrayal reasons, Sunny's a great character to play as people have either faced this teenager during school or have known of this person somewhere. When I read the script, I was amazed as I've never really seen anything like this on TV. I was also upset with what challenges the characters face in PREMature. Although a bleak reminder at times of what people actually go through in life, there's a sense of hopefulness and faith throughout.
