- as Theo Clarke

Harold currently trains at East 15 Acting School. One of the most noticeable traits about Harold is his charisma and genuine interest in getting to know and meet new people, hence his drive to be an actor. Harold has always considered himself to be more of a stage actor rather than screen performer, since the stage was what first introduced him to the craft. However, PREMature is a project that has opened him up to a whole new perspective on how some film sets work as well as the shift in performance.
I play the role of Theo Clarke who is one of the school bullies. I feel that even the term “bully” is soft to describe him. As Theo I'm also a tormentor, an opportunist, and of course a coward: but on the contrary I'm also a victim. In preparation for the role, I realised very early on that for someone to be able to go to such lengths to make someone's life a living hell, there must be a deeper reason as to why one would do this, and I decided it's because Theo himself is bullied by his own father. Therefore his behaviour is not solely based on not liking someone, but it's more of a cathartic release from the pain he gets at home. The whole atmosphere whilst on the set of PREMature was always relaxed and concentrated, as we were always having fun because we enjoyed being in each other's company, with the material being first priority, because there was and is a story that needs to be told and shared.
